Whether you are a new EIT looking to plan your path toward a P. Eng. designation or someone starting their application process, this event is tailored for you! The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) utilize a Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) framework for engineering experience evaluation. Our speakers are Amit Banerjee, P.Eng., Director, Registration Operations at APEGA and Mohammed Mirza, P.Eng., Engineer, Admissions at APEGA. They will outline the details of the registration process, provide information on the CBA framework, how to complete an application, and tips on preparing a good application. Our speakers will also be hosting a question period after the presentation to address any questions that the attendees might have. This event allows young professionals to interface directly with AEPGA representatives and understand the key characteristics of strong application submissions. While the target audience is predominantly EITs and applicants, Professional Members are also welcome to attend. The Professional Members play a critical role in the application process by providing feedback as validators and/or references.

Registration includes Sliders, Salad and Pop.
